RD-71 1080P IRD System
The Adtec RD-71 1080P features multi-CODEC, ultra-low and normal delay MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 AVC/H.264 high definition integrated receiver decoder (IRD). The ultra-low delay mode requires the use of the 91P series 1080P encoder and delivers picture-to-picture services in 100 milliseconds.
Interoperability
The extensively versatile RD-71 IRD is interoperable with other encoders making it ideal for mission critical trunking, ad-hoc OB, DSNG and teleport applications. The lightweight, 10 pound or 4.5 Kilo 71 series offers amazing features and specifications.

In addition to encoding phase aligned audio, the 71 series pass-through support includes PCM, DolbyE (16 and 20 Bit) and Dolby AC3 (2.0 and 5.1). This IRD identifies services concurrently from ASI, IP and DVBS/S2 transport interfaces. The DVBS/S2 de-modulator supports modes ranging from QPSK up to 32APSK based on software licenses.
