Quintech XRM 2250 L-band Matrix Router features a unique architecture 3-stage which provides redundant RF signal paths and automated re-routing in the event of a crosspoint fault. The system automatically routes around the fault using an alternate path in the XRM module and sends an SNMP trap to alert the operator. A complete 32x32 L-band matrix switch, including hot-swappable input, output and bridge cards, redundant power supplies, and system controller is contained in a 6 RU chassis. The user can easily access cards for upgrades and maintenance via front panel without disconnecting cables or disrupting the signal paths of the other cards in the system. This permits seamless online upgrades and maintenance. The modular design permits a wide variety of configurations which can be easily expanded.
