QRB-3000 Bi-Directional 32x32 RF Matrix Switching System

The Quintech QRB 3000 32X32 CQ000 is a passive, bi-directional, full fan-in/fan-out matrix switching system that provides a complete 32x32 matrix in a single 6 RU box. The matrix is bi-directional in that any of the 32 ports A or B can be routed to any or all of 32 possible ports B or A. It provides continuous operation over the frequency range 700-2800 MHz and is ideal for testing wireless communication technologies such as LTE, 4G, and WiMax.

Reliable

All active components, including RF matrix cards and power supply, are field replaceable. Multiple modules can be combined to create larger matrices. The QRB provides up to 60 dB of attenuation at each crosspoint and RF sensing at one set of ports (50 dB range).

Features

Solid state switching for consistent, repeatable, and reliable performance

Compact 6RU module fits up to 32 x 32 RF ports -Expandable to 256 x 256 with additional modules

700 to 3000 MHz frequency range

Full fan-out/fan-in (Splitting and combining)

Emulates free space and supports MIMO testing 0 to 60 dB attenuation per path in 1 dB steps

Isolation ≥ 80 dB

High power handling of 1 watt

Remotely controlled via Telnet and TCP/IP

Intuitive, easy-to-use web browser GUI

Automates test applications for service providers & mobile equipment manufacturers

Reconfigure test setup connections in seconds

Programmable Attenuation

Built in programmable attenuators provide ease-of-use testing of signal fade and emulation of mobility and handoff testing scenarios. Test system configurations can be remotely reconfigured and consistently reproduced in minutes, eliminating the need for time consuming manual patch panel changes that can lead to RF signal loss and unpredictable results. Utilization of the QRB 3000 will improve test cycle rotation times and speed new products time to market.
