The compact and rugged Intellian GX60 is a 60cm Ka-Band marine satellite communications antenna system that's fully optimized and completely certified to work with Inmarsat's Global Xpress GX satellite service, as well as all other high throughput Ka-Band maritime satellite internet platforms. Due to it's size and lightweight design, the GX60 is ideal for all vessels, regardless of size. Whether you're using broadband IP services to manage a vessel or operate a ship, this terminal delivers unheard of broadband speeds anywhere on the world's oceans.

High Gain

Standard features of this small aperture system include a fully optimized high gain lightweight carbon fiber reflector and tuned composite radome that delivers superior signal spectral purity on Inmarsat I-5 Ka-Band satellites.

Frequency Tuned Radome

To ensure efficient operations for both Ku-band VSAT and Ka-band Inmarsat Global Xpress network operation, the signal loss of the radome itself was minimized and the RF performance maximized with an optimized radome design that enhances both Ka-Band and Ku-Band RF subsystem performance.

Ka-Band Engineered Reflector

The GX60 is designed and engineered to operate on Ka-band frequencies while maximizing the BUC and LNB performance. The carbon fiber composite reflector of the GX60 is capable of transmitting and receiving Ka-band. Standard Ka-band system configuration comprises a 5 Watt Ka-band BUC, (2) Global Ka-Band LNBs and indoor antenna controller with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Gyro-Free Satellite Acquisition

Intellian's new generation Gyro-free satellite search function enables this antenna to acquire and lock onto the satellite without requiring a separate input from the ship's gyrocompass.

Worldwide Coverage Area

Fully equipped with Intellian's patent pending Global PLL LNB as a standard configuration.  Intellian's new Global PLL LNB presents the world's first Ku-band LNB module capable of receiving a full range of operating frequencies from any VSAT satellite around the globe.  

The PLL LNB incorporates user programmable support of an unlimited number of LO (Local Oscillator) frequencies.

FCC and ETSI Standards Compliance 

The Intellian GX is designed to meet or exceed FCC and ETSI specifications, as well as Res EN60945, EN60950, R&TT, DNV2.4 Class C and MIL-STD-167-1A specifications.

Antenna Control Unit - Global Xpress Core Module

The all new GX ACU combines the Core Module internally with the antenna control unit, saving time and space during installation. The ACU also includes a Wi-Fi connection to allow wireless connection using the dedicated Intellian Aptus software for system control and monitoring. The Aptus software also helps automatically configure the antenna system during initial commissioning.
