2.4M Skyware Global Type 243 Ku-Band Tx/RX Class III Antenna System
Handles feed boom mounting of large Ku-Band BUCs, precision reflector composite tolerance
Skyware Global Type 243 Ku-Band Transmit Receive Antenna
The popular and cost effective Skyware Global Type 243 Ku-Band 2.4 meter transmit and receive offset VSAT antenna is a rugged commercial grade product suitable for the most demanding small aperture terminals applications. The reflector is thermoset-molded for strength and surface accuracy. Molded into the rear of the reflector is a network of support ribs which not only strengthens the antenna, but also helps to sustain its critical parabolic shape. This ensures outstanding RF performance for transmit and receive applications such as iDirect internet service and remote satellite broadband applications.
Rugged Reflector Mount
The Skyware Global Type 243 Ku-Band Az/EI mount is constructed from heavy-gauge steel to provide a rigid support to the reflector. The Az/EI mount secures the antenna to a 168 mm [ 6.63" ] 0.D. metal schedule 40 pipe mast and prevents slippage in high winds.
Corrosion Proof Antenna Backstructure
A specially formulated powder paint process offers excellent protection from weather-related corrosion.
