TXS 2150 1x8 L-Band Optical Transmitter Router Redundancy System
This product has reached end of life and is no longer available. Please contact Digisat for a suitable replacement from Quintech.
The TXS 2150 (TXS215008FFC000) provides eight 2-way splitters and a single 8x1 router in a single 3 RU enclosure One of the outputs of each 2-way splitter is accessible through a rear panel mounted "F" type connector to feed fiber optic transmitters. The other output of the 2-way splitter is connected to each of the eight inputs of the 8x1 router. Quintech's router output feeds a standby fiber optic transmitter. In the event that one of the eight primary optical links fails, the loss of RF on that failed link is sensed on the receiver end of the link by the RXS215008FFC000. An RS-422 control via the RXS215008FFC000 causes the TXS215008FFC000 router to route the input of the failed link to the standby fiber link.
Monitoring
A rear panel mounted RJ45 connector provides an Ethernet port for M&C monitoring of the sensing switch positions. Dual AC inputs and dual internal power supplies are included for power redundancy.
