22356 8-Way Splitter/Combiner

This hybrid units comprises of an 8-way active L-band splitter and an 8-way active L-band combiner accommodated in a 3U high 19” rack mountable chassis. The receive section (8-way splitter) provides 18V DC LNB power, and the transmit section (8-way combiner) provides 24V DC BUC power (both are switchable on/off from the rear panel).

Integrated Reference

A 10MHz reference signal is available on the splitter and combiner which can be switched on/off from the rear panel. U-links are also provided to inject a 10MHz source on to the common port(s) if desired. An external reference can be used by connecting to the 10 MHz IP port directly.

Built-In Redundancy

The unit also benefits from dual redundant cold-standby amplifiers and dual redundant power supplies for reliability in service.

8-way active L-band splitter and an 8-way active L-band combiner accommodated in a 3U high 19” rack mountable chassis. Single 10 MHz ref can be switched on/off from rear panel (for both Tx & Rx). 2 x 50 ohm BNCs on rear panel for 10MHz external IN and internal OUT, with a U-link supplied. There is no 10MHz injection if the U-link is removed and the port is terminated (i.e. no external source supplied).
