The flexible Adtec YUV2QAM series is a dual-channel, high definition MPEG-2 broadcast distribution encoding system with QAM modulation and RF up-conversion built in. Its primary application is for use with clear QAM distribution to ATSC televisions.
Auto RF/IP Signal Detection
By automatically detecting video and audio, YUV2 delivers encoding, multiplexing and generates program information (PSIP); it then modulates and up-converts two channels for head-end distribution via coax.
Emergency Alert Support
Closed captioning and support for Emergency Alert (EAS) are standard. Applications include private cable, hospitality, medical, education and cable television.
