Inmarsat Government advantage: private and secure global Managed Mobile Service. Inmarsat Government’s managed broadband service features a state-of-the-art global network designed to provide the upmost in mobility, speed and security for terrestrial data transport. Our service is delivered through our BGAN Secure Terrestrial Access (BSTA) solution, which has a dedicated entry point directly connecting the Inmarsat core BGAN network to the Inmarsat Government Network, a private, global Multi-Protocol Label Switched (MPLS) backbone.
The Inmarsat Government private network is ISO 9000-compliant and managed 24/7 by cleared network and customer support personnel within our U.S.-based Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). Our BSTA service is designed to provide BGAN, Fleet Broadband and SwiftBroadband users with superior performance and the industry’s highest quality managed mobile broadband service and support. Backed by the Inmarsat Government Global Management System (GMS) – a MSS Dashboard – users are provided with an on-demand view of MSS usage in order to control costs and make critical, data-driven decisions.
