The groundbreaking high gain Intellian v100GX is a 1.05 meter Ka-Band and Ku-Band marine VSAT antenna system that's totally optimized and fully certified to access Inmarsat GX satellite service, as well as all Ku-Band satellites for broadband marine internet service. The extremely versatile v100GX is the ultimate communications platform for captains and mariners that demand a flexible and cost effective communications platform that allows the use of multiple maritime satcom IP service access providers. High Gain ReflectorStandard features of the highly efficient Intellian v100GX Inmarsat GX antenna system include a fully optimized high gain lightweight carbon fiber main reflector and tuned composite radome that delivers superior signal spectral purity for connecting to Inmarsat I-5 satellites. This high throughput GX maritime VSAT antenna system also offers seafarers an extremely easy and fast platform conversion kit for switching between iDirect and standard Ku-band, to Global Xpress frequencies, all without the need to drydock or moor the vessel. Frequency Tuned RadomeTo ensure constant and efficient operations for both Ku-band VSAT and Ka-band Global Xpress network operation, the signal loss of the radome itself was minimized and the RF performance maximized with an RF nuetral radome design that enhances both Ka and Ku transmit and receive subsystem performance. Ka and Ku-Band Engineered ReflectorThe Intellian v100 GX is designed and engineered to operate with Ku and Ka frequencies, while maximizing the Block Upconverter transmitter and LNB performance throughout both frequency bands. The carbon fiber composite reflector of the v100GX is capable of transmitting and receiving both Ku and Ka frequencies, eliminating the need to replace the reflector when switching between providers. The standard Ku system is equipped with a Ku-band feed, 8 Watt BUC, (2) Global LNBs and indoor antenna controller with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Simple RF Package ConversionThe Intellian v100GX can be easily and quickly converted from a Ku-band system to a Kaband GX system with the mounting hardware equipped with an integrated RF module consisting of the BUC and LNB. The BUC and LNB assembly is attached to the rear side of the reflector through a simple process, with no need to balance the system after conversion. The Ku feed can be easily and swiftly replaced with the Ka-band feed and is included in the Intellian GX Conversion kit. Once the ACU is replaced, and power is supplied, the system is immediately ready for operation on the GX platform. Gyro-Free Spacecraft AcquisitionIntellian's new generation Gyro-free satellite search function enables this antenna to acquire and lock onto the satellite without requiring a separate input from the ship's gyrocompass. Intellian Global PLL LNBFully equipped with the patent pending Global PLL LNB as a standard configuration. The new Global PLL Intellian LNB presents the world's first LNB module capable of receiving a full range of operating frequencies from any IP satellite around the globe. The PLL LNB incorporates user programmable support of an unlimited number of LO (Local Oscillator) frequencies. This uniquely innovative capability of remotely changing the frequencies of the Intellian LNB makes this GX antenna by far the only system that is ready for Global Ku band VSAT IP broadband service to date. Auto Beam Switching via OpenAMIP and Comtech ROSSSupports ABS via OpenAMIP protocol of iDirect and the ROSS Open Antenna Management (ROAM) protocol of Comtech.
