1248K Portable VSAT

AVL Technologies 1248K is a compact, lightweight, motorized portable auto acquisition antenna system that's extremely portable and offers rapid deployment in less than 10 minutes. 1248K is a Ku-Band system that's compatible with all L-Band Satellite modems including iDirect Evolution series X5, X3 and X7. Approved for use on Intelsat, PanAmSat and Loral Skynet, it also meets all FCC requirements for RFI.. Key features of the 1248K system include a precision segmented carbon fiber reflector, 400 degree azimuth range, integrated GPS system for easy auto pointing and exceptional cross pol isolation. Typical download speeds of 2 Mbps can be achieved with the 1248K.

The 1248 series antenna includes a light weight 1.2m carbon fiber 4 piece reflector, auto acquiring/auto pointing control system and a motorized polarization controller.
