The General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies 4.8M antenna delivers extraordinary uplink performance at a cost effective price. The GD Satcom Technologies 4.8M antenna is an ideal solution for uplink applications that require Intelsat, Eutelsat, Asiasat or Hispasat type approval. The GD Satcom 4.8M antenna is available in a wide variety of configurations from transmit/receive, receive only, C-Band, Ku-Band and high frequency Ka-band. The GD Satcom 4.8M antenna offers precision-formed panels, contoured radials
and a machined hub assembly. It also features an innovative
feed and subreflector design which results in high gain, low
noise temperature, high antenna efficiency and excellent
rejection of noise and microwave interference. The reflector is
supported by a galvanized pedestal that provides the required
stiffness for pointing and tracking accuracy. The pedestals
are designed for full orbital arc coverage and are readily
adaptable to ground or rooftop installations.
